M. Denise Kuprionis, 48, was named a vice president of the
company in June 2001. She became director of legal affairs
in 1999 and has been corporate secretary since 1987. She was
the first female to be elected an officer of the company.
In 1978, Kuprionis joined The Kentucky Post as secretary to the editor. In 1980 she moved to the company's corporate headquarters in Cincinnati as a secretary. She was promoted to executive assistant in 1985 and began handling compensation matters, administrative functions and special projects until being promoted to corporate secretary in 1987.
Professional affiliations
include membership in the American Society of Corporate
Secretaries, the American Corporate Counsel Association and the
Cincinnati, Ohio and American Bar Associations. Kuprionis is also a member
of the Leadership Cincinnati Alumni Association and the
metropolitan board of directors of the YMCA of Greater
Cincinnati.
Kuprionis received a B.S. and a J.D.
from Northern Kentucky University.
