Timothy E. Stautberg
Vice President/Communications and Investor Relations

Tim Stautberg was named vice president of communications and investor relations in April 1999. In this role, he oversees all of the corporation's internal and external communications and is the company's liaison with the investment community.

Stautberg, 42, joined the Scripps Corporate Leadership and Development initiative in 1990 and was assigned to The Pittsburgh Press. In 1991, he was transferred to the corporate development department in Cincinnati. In 1992, he joined the Denver Rocky Mountain News, where he held various management positions before being named assistant to the publisher. He was named general manager of the Redding (CA) Record Searchlight in 1997.

Before joining Scripps, Stautberg was a commercial banking officer with Harris Trust and Savings Bank in Chicago.

He currently serves on the board of trustees of the Cincinnati May Festival and the Economics Center for Education and Research. Stautberg also is a member of the corporate council of the Cincinnati Art Museum and the development committee for Beech Acres. He is a local and national member of the National Investor Relations Institute.

Stautberg received a bachelor's degree in economics from Kenyon College and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.
