E. John Wolfzorn, 59, was named treasurer in 1979 and was named a corporate vice president in 2002. He joined the company in 1973 as a financial analyst and was promoted to assistant treasurer in 1975. In his current role, he is responsible for managing the debt portfolio (including commercial paper), as well as the cash management and risk management functions.
Prior to joining Scripps, he was with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.
He is a member of Financial Executives Institute, where he previously served as President of the Cincinnati chapter and a director. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Wolfzorn received a B.A. in accounting from Thomas More College in 1966.
